Malaysia is proud to announce it will host the 6th Asia Petanque Championship for a record third time, from November 5th to 10th, 2025.
The championship, which was relocated to Malaysia from Iran due to safety concerns, is set to be a major regional sporting event. It will bring together 141 elite athletes from 15 nations across Asia, who will compete for glory in men's, women's, and junior categories for both triples and precision shooting.
For eight Southeast Asian nations—Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Brunei—the tournament serves as a crucial preparatory event for the upcoming 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. They will be joined by top contenders from China, Hong Kong SAR, Chinese Taipei, Lebanon, South Korea, Japan, and India, promising a highly competitive and international spectacle.
